NASSAU, Bahamas – Miss Venezuela was the fairest of them all, again.

Venezuelan Stefania Fernandez won the 2009 Miss Universe pageant in the Bahamas on Sunday night.

Dressed in a flowing red gown, Fernandez embraced runner up Miss Dominican Republic as the announcement was made, and received the crown from last year's winner, Dayana Mendoza, of Venezuela. The sparkling tiara fell to the floor at one point, as Fernandez danced in joy.

Venezuela, a beauty-obsessed South American country, has won the Miss Universe pageant six times.

During a question-and-answer segment with the five top finalists, Fernandez said she believed women have overcome obstacles such as hitting the proverbial glass ceiling.

"I feel we have reached the level that men are at," she said.

The other top-five finalists were runner-up Ada Aimee de la Cruz, followed by Miss Kosovo, Droga Ganusha; Miss Australia, Rachael Finch; and Miss Puerto Rico, Mayra Matos Perez.

The top 15 finalists appeared in bathing suits before the final 10 were chosen for the evening gown segment.

Pageant co-owner Donald Trump told reporters, "I think this is the most beautiful group of women I've ever seen."

The televised event includes musical performances by Flo Rida, Heidi Montag, David Guetta and Kelly Rowland.

Montag gave her first live performance, singing "Body Language" from her debut album.

Fans cheered on the blond star of MTV's "The Hills," although NBC, which is broadcasting the event in the Bahamas live, blocked out more than half of her performance as they introduced the 15 finalists.

"It's my first performance live and it's in front of a billion eyes. So I'm very excited to show everyone what I'm coming with," said Montag before her performance.

Hosts are Billy Bush, co-anchor of "Access Hollywood," and Claudia Jordan, a former Miss Rhode Island USA who has appeared on several TV shows. Judges include actor Dean Cain and supermodel Valeria Mazza.

Miss China, Wang Jingyao, was named Miss Congeniality and Miss Thailand, Chutima Durongdej, won Miss Photogenic.

City Town Fiesta 09' // Angeli's celebration

The preparations for the town fiesta is so tiring.
Even I'm not a participant of it, I still can say it is tiring..
All of the praticipants of our school are practicing very hard and they were missing some of their classes. But it's worth it.
We,HS Department,won the first place(I don't know if it is the champion)
and I'm sure.. Everybody will be celebrating this Monday even if it is our first periodic examinations.

Nutrition Month Celebration 09-10

The first ever actvity in the school year is the Nutrition Month Celebration involving Nutri-jingle Competition, Rap, Skit, and the most important is the Cook Fest.
After all of the preparations that were made by me and my companions (we made props including painting of them) it is already finished and we will not be staying up to late.
By the way, our place in the over all results was 2nd place. We were all crossing our fingers during the announcing of winners. And we were so happy about the results.
When we started cooking, our committee is so excited but we have a great problem. WE DON NOT HAVE SOMETHING TO COOK. So we wait until 12:30 and at last. And while cooking, they announced that there will be classes in the afternoon. And I was rushing because im the one cooking. And i was already very hungry so i ask food from my classmates because our dish is not yet cooked. And after it is cooked, all of my classmates were like kids. Nagagawan sila sa bola bola. Haha.
It was heavenly fun.

Tanduay First Five Nationwide Concert Tour

This very first ever concert happened yesterday night @ the Cagayan Sports Complex. The band who performed were the 6CycleMind,Sanwich,Chicosi,Rico Blanco and Bamboo. But Rico Blanco is solo [ and Bamboo I think ]. I know you are all familiar with this bands. They made a spectacular event last night...... Even if I did not finished it, I still can say it was really spectacular because of the first bands who performed. Sorry in advance because there were no pics taken. Because I got the wrong digicam. Malapit na malobat yung nakuha ko. At pagdating ko dun nalobat na talaga. And I really do not expect from my cellphone. Because it's just 2MP and it cannot capture clear images in the dark. Its so stupefying. But it's still great because of the concert. Anyway, lemme start now.

First: before I went to the concert, I went to the mass first and went to Mcdonalds for an early dinner and miryenda at the same time. I ate Twister fries and the Icy Blue float.. And a caramel sundae. After that, I went to CSC.

SECOND: I am at the concert na. And I keep roaming around the oval to find my companions and voila! I found them. Yehey. Haha. And then we made kwento kwento first. The concert started at 8PM. And the first performer were the 6cyclemind and there were fireworks. And we keep yelling and shouting to the max. And going with the song. The next was Sanwich. But i was at the Tanduay booth that time, but I can still watch and hear them. And after that, Rico Blanco. And

Third: I did not finished it. Because my father fetched me already.

1st Socialization Party 2009-2010

This is the party I've enjoyed ever. Or I think there will be more parties to come. As of now first.

We sing,dance,and dance until we die. I do not enjoy dancing that much. But when parties like that, I mean the socialization thing,I engage myself into it. I am very tired while I'm blogging this. Always active kasi ako sa mga ganito kapag dancing. Seh hehe. Super ako sumayaw kanina. Anyway, lemme start. Sorry for the long intro.. Here I go.

First thing we did was to sit. Ofcourse. The first performer was the HSCT officers. And followed by the performace of each year level by dancing and singing. The vocal solo thing? The second was the Amazing race. The first game was composed of 10 members and 1 spotter. And so on and so on. And the secong game,still part of the Amazing Race were I was a contestant. First, we should make patintero with the bantay. And chopsticks the calamansi. And ......... jump in the chairs. And after the games we had dancing and I was like a wild animal Haha. By this point of time, I'm very tired. So don't expect na maganda ang blog ko.

2NE1

2NE1 is a famous girl group in Korea now. And the surprising thing is Sandara Park,former Kapamilya,is a member of the said group. She now find her successful career at Korea. When she was here at the Philippines, she rarely have show,etc. Here are some informations of her girl group, 2NE1.


History:
The group was first mentioned by the press in late 2008, when rumours were spreading that YG was creating a female version of Big Bang named Sista. In response to those rumours, YG Entertainment President Yang Hyun Suk stated that the name was not chosen yet. In January 2009, it was announced that the "Female Big Bang" would debut around July 2009 with three members — CL, Minzy, and Bom. Later that month, YG stated that Sandara Park joined the group, with one more member to follow.In the end, YG Entertainment announced that the group would consist of four members and debut sometime in May 2009. The company stated that the group had trained for 4 years, and that their debut album would contain songs produced by Teddy Park. The group's name was initially announced as "21"; however, due to the discovery of a singer with the same name, the group was quickly renamed "2NE1" which stands for “New Evolution of the 21st Century”. “NE” meaning “New Evolution” and “21” standing for the “21st Century”.

Album:
2NE1 ended their promotions for their debut single "Fire" on the 28th of June on SBS Inkigayo. On the 1st July, they released their title song out of their 1st Mini-Album, called "I Don't Care", online. It is a totally different side and image of 2NE1, since "I Don't Care" is a reggae R&B ballad, co-produced by YG's rising producer Teddy and Kush. Kush is from a reggae group called "Stony Stunk". After its digital release, interest in the song rose greatly, topping Cyworld's hourly music chart after an hour of its release. Besides "I Don't Care", there will be 4 other new songs featured on the mini album from a total of 7 tracks. The official release date of "2NE1 1st Mini-Album" will be on the 8th of July.

The oldest JoBro is engaged to his longtime girlfriend, Danielle Deleasa, People reported.

According to the mag, the 21-year-old musician surprised Danielle at her home in New Jersey with a cushion-cut diamond ring that Kevin himself helped design.
"She said yes, yes, yes like 500 times super fast in a row," Kevin told the mag.

The couple met in May 2007, while vacationing with their families in the Bahamas.
And Danielle, 22, is still reeling from the proposal.
"It still feels like a dream," she said.

End of Cagayan Day (YESTERDAY)

Hey. This blog should be made yesterday. But I was so very tired so I did not blog it anymore. Yesterday, was the end of the Aggao Na Cagayan. So I and my friends went to Cagayan National Highschool. At around 9:40 I think, they started the fireworks and I was with my another friend, Djia, our other companion already left and we both watched the spectacular fireworks. And after that, I already went home but my classmate texted me to have rides first, but I was on my way home because there will be no ride if I stay late.

That was the best Cagayan Day ever happened because all the places at Cagayan merged for one event.

Hi readers. Again, not clear. I did not brought the cam with me because forgot it because my grandmother is scolding me because I was very slow in changing my clothes.. So I used my phone to capture the images.

Anyway, these were the images I'd taken last night. When we arrived there, the mass is still going on. And I guess that the Grand Procession started at 8:30. And it enden past 9:30. While we were walking,I admit that I did not join the rosary. But to talk and talk with my cousin the whole procession. And the shit thing was my feet were surrendering. It was so painful. God, I'll never walk that far again.

Our Lady of Namacpacan

Just this 8:11 P.M., I went at USLT to visit the Our Lady of Namacpacan. My grandmother invited me to join the prayer vigil. We all prayed the rosary chorusly. And after that, we recited the litany. I noticed that there are only few people because its already late. But I heard that the visiting will last upto 12midnight. Tomorrow, I will go to the procession of all the "Our Ladies". Because it is Cagayan Day.

Wondering

When I was on my way home, I was scanning the pictures I have taken. I suddenly stop at 1 picture. And I was wondering I am like this: Tall. It's not that I am boasting. But I am really tall. On the first week of school, my classmates are always pay interest at my height. "Ala, bakit ang bilis mo tumangkad?" & "Ala, grabe, ang tangkad mo naman na." And the worse thing, " Nagvitamin 'J' ka siguro no?". And me too, was wondering why I am [very?] tall at this point of time. And I know the answer. Just maybe I don't know. Lol. Just bother to ask because I really do not know why.

Some of my friends and relatives are always encouraging me to play Basketball. But for me, I don't want. Because I do not know how to do it. And I'm not interested in learning it. Some say "Sayang ang tangkad mo, hindi ka naman nagbabasketball.'' And " Akin nalang ang tangkad mo." But anyway, im just posting this because I'm just wondering why I am tall.

Wala lang talaga akong magawa. Kaya ang mukha ko nalang ang ginawa ko. Buong araw na akong nakaupo rito at wala paring nangyayaring maganda sakin. Kung 'di pag ka boring lang ang resulta. Kung nagtataka ka kung ano ang pinagsasasabi ko dito, pag pasensyahan mo na. Dahil wala lang talaga akong magawa. At isa pa, kung napansin mo na nagtatagalog ako, eh aywan ko na.
